New York bass boffin Drop The Lime has been busy of late.
When not releasing his own speaking wobbling electro bangers the producer is running a storming label to showcase some of his talented friends. Hailing from Brooklyn, AC Slater is the latest artist to grace Trouble & Bass.
But this isn’t some vanity project. Hand picked from New York’s bustling dance scene, Slater shares many of the same influences as Drop The Lime – the love of bass, the house euphoria and the swagger of hip hop.
Those crunching beats are a class apart, with forthcoming single ‘Take You’ sent into hip hop heaven by a guest appearance from Ninjasonik.
Due for release on April 13th, the new single contains some heavyweight remixes from Nadastrom, Lazer Sword and of course Drop The Lime himself.
