There a few rules in this crazy o' world, few certainties with which we can live our lives by.
But one thing does hold true: Slow Club videos are always - always - worth watching.
The duo have evolved from a ramshackle twee-pop outfit into songwriters of grace, sophistication and real character, with recent album 'One Day All Of This Won’t Matter Anymore' perhaps their finest to date.
Taken from said LP, new single 'Champion' argues that some of the smallest decisions in your day can be the most courageous, honing in on the realities of dealing with mental illness.
Rebecca Taylor says: "Getting out of bed feels like an achievement of Olympic standards when you are under the wave of depression. When it is at it's peak very simple and easy things become positively impossible. It's a chore, and feels silly, but it is so important to remember to be encouraging of your own inner champion. Even if you're just managing to have a shower or texting people back. Well bloody done mate".
Directed by Piers Dennis, the accompanying visuals deal with finding inner strength, and literally baring all. It's wry, funny, and oddly moving - and always worth watching.
