Detroit Social Club have been prisoners of their craft for nearly three months now, holed away in the recording room, catching the light of day on occasion when travelling between their Northern home and the capital.
Today’s track is the first taste of the fruits from this labouring. ‘Black & White’ is everything we hoped from the raucous Newcastle outfit, combining their refined tastes for the deep south (Brian Jonestown Massacre) with the stomping rhythms that brought their first single ‘Rivers And Rainbows’ to our attention.
