Real name Graeme Ronald, Remember Remember began life as a bed room project.
Using found sounds and looping samples, Remember Remember produced electronic music which sounded uniquely organic. Releasing a string of EPs, the project adopted new members until it became a fully fledged band.
Releasing their sparkling debut album last year on Rock Action Records, Remember Remember won a cult following. Growing from simple rhythms and delicate samples, the band’s music would spiral outwards in delicate, fragile and increasingly complex shapes.
Now a seven piece live band, Remember Remember is still implicitly linked to Ronald’s imagination. Returning with their new EP ‘RR Scorpii’ the band are at times in on full psychedelic mode.
Mixing the landscapes of 70s rock with the repetition of Steve Reich, this is no ordinary trip. Remember Remember prefer to err on the unsettling side of psychedelia, focussing on its mind expanding properties rather than its lysergic groove.
