Zach Said is just impossible to dislike.
The newcomer played a Clash Live event last month, and the crowd at Ace Hotel's Miranda venue were completely transfixed, totally absorbed by his modest, self-effacing humour.
Of course, he's got the songs to match. New EP 'Balance' is out now, an addictive introduction that epitomises his astute potential, his innate musicality.
Fun, frisky pop scenes reminiscent of Bastille, GoldLink, or even Bruno Mars, with a loveable and distinctly British down to Earth feel, each song left a distinct impression.
'Get You Back' followed the path of a 90s rom-com, with Zach Said finding that sometimes nice guys really do finish last.
He's not to be deterred, however, and by the end is brimming with confidence that maybe this time she'll come back.
We've got first play of the video, placing Zach Said's impish persona front and centre, a true showman coming into his own.
Tune in now.
