North East indie risers Llovers wear their hearts on their sleeves.
The group's live following swoon at every word, the lilting indie melodies matched to psychedelic flourishes.
A potent concert experience, Llovers are set to end a specular summer with new single 'Without You'.
Dominated by that keening, earnest vocal, the arrangement contains a few surprises – check out the cyclical guitar line, or that trumpet melody billowing through the speaker.
Co-frontman David Macnab explains: “Jack sent me a demo of this song via phone recording, and the honesty and vulnerability the track conveyed, it kind of made us feel that we didn’t want to do anything to it. So the guitar and vocals were recorded in one take, and we built the track around that, as we didn’t want to lose the essence of the original phone recording”.
Tune in now.
