Dublin's Odd Morris have a terrific grasp of space.
The band's music essentially leans towards post-punk, this barbed, sparse, guitar-laden sound as biting as it is incisive.
A series of taut, visceral live shows across Dublin and beyond have already spread word about their potent songwriting, and there's a lot more to come.
Touching down in London for their debut live show, Odd Morris will play the Old Blue Last on November 7th, with tickets available on DICE.
New single 'Lilac Leaves' leads the way, and it recalls everyone from early Bauhaus to Interpol or Savages, while recalling the ferocity of their peers such as Fontaines DC or IDLES.
“A friend of mine had told me over a pint that his relationship with his father was the greatest lesson in empathy he ever had, which really struck a chord,” singer Daragh explains, “Psychologically, I didn't want to move out of my gaf on a bad note, so writing Lilac Leaves was my way of acknowledging a forgiveness”.
