If Die! Die! Die!’s sound manifested itself as a living being, it would ask if that seat is taken at the cafe, take the chair regardless of your answer, and then verbally explode with rants of social deterioration and the struggle of youth, whilst forcefully pounding your forehead off the table to represent full stops and pauses. An experience which would leave you feeling vulnerable yet roused.
‘Promises, Promises’ was the New Zealand trio’s second studio album, one which left our reviewer declaring it a “spine-crunchingly raw and bloody brilliant second helping”, and since its release the band have toured incessantly. This weekend they shall launch their guitar led assault on London’s Offset Festival, taking none other than the mainstage, before shooting off to add the final touches to album number three.
