Out today on digital download, ‘I Want That’ is the second single to be lifted from Psapp’s most recent long-play collection, ‘The Camel’s Back’.
The experimental duo of Galia Durant and Carim Glassman are on typically eclectic form throughout their latest LP – out now on Domino – and this single, today’s TotD – sets a tone of sorts for what the album has to offer. Of course, as with all Psapp releases, nothing is quite what it seems – consider this the tip, jutting above the waves.
Mixing the accessible with the out-there, avant tendencies with an ear for the sweetest melodies, Psapp remain mavericks in their field, and this album-opening track is a great method of introduction for the previously inexperienced.
