Manchester indie pop riser Abbie Ozard is coming of age.
Honing her talents at BIMM's Northern output, she's currently working on her debut EP, a blast of ultra-refreshing pop-etched guitar music.
With summer fast drawing in the time is right for her blissful melodies, for those gorgeous harmonies and bittersweet lyrics.
New single 'Growing Pains' is a superb introduction, an immaculate three minute pop song that recalls everyone from Alvvays to Scottish indie pop heroes Camera Obscura.
She explains: “"Growing Pains’ explores a coming of age theme and the challenges that come with being a teenager in love, which I'm sure most people can relate to."
The video picks up on these themes, and it's humorous take on adolescent angst and teenage awkwardness is hilariously accurate.
