Denmark's WhoMadeWho are that rare thing in dance music – a group who manage to work as one, producing a singular voice.
The three-piece have a unique sound, one honed across five albums, and countless tours across Europe and beyond.
Album No. 6 dropped last year, with 'Through The Walls' finding WhoMadeWho exploring fresh space, conjuring new sounds.
But they're in no mood to stop. Agreeing to curate a mix for the acclaimed Watergate series, the Danish band turned the task into a highly involved creative endeavour.
Watergate 26 mixed by WhoMadeWho lands on April 5th – order your copy HERE – and it's a nuanced mix, packed with surprises and about-turns.
The trio even recorded new material for the release, with the ambient leaning 'Smile' becoming an exercise in layered sound, stretching out into infinity.
The subtle percussive breakdown shifts the track into a new space on its arrival, the dappled keys placed against some heavenly vocals.
Tune in now.
Watergate 26 mixed by WhoMadeWho will be released on April 5th.
