Joe Goddard likes to keep himself busy.
When not ruling the roost as part of Hot Chip, the producer runs his revered Greco-Roman imprint. Securing work from some of the hottest artists around, the label has also provided a home for Goddard’s own productions.
Recent album ‘Harvest Festival’ was a stunning first blast. Forming The 2 Bears with fellow Greco-Roman type Raf Rundell, the pair have set about drafting some spell-binding electro-pop melodies.
Debut EP ‘Follow The Bears’ it out now, attracting attention from some of the most influential DJs around. Following hot on the heels of Greco-Roman’s recent box set, the release demonstrates that the label shows no signs of slowing down.
Mixing subtle production with some decidedly in-your-face songwriting, The 2 Bears are much more than a diversion from Joe Goddard’s day job.
