Techno. Two decades on from Detroit’s big bang and the motorik rhythms still click on, keeping dancefloors moving across the globe. Twisting and mutating in the blink of an eye, one of the freshest talents to emerge from the sleek synth scene in recent days is Cassy.
Wildly experimental but without ever losing sight of the dancefloor, Cassy is probably best known for her collaborations with South American minimal overlord Ricardo Villalobos.
With her earthy singing voice and unique production skills Cassy can shake dancefloors like no one else. Through her own residency at Panoramabar and even her own self-titled imprint Cassy has emerged recently as one of techno’s most influential figures.
Travelling to Britain for a series of mouth watering dates, Cassy recently rocked legendary London nightclub Fabric. Famed for its residencies and ongoing mix series, Fabric is one of the most influential dance spots in the world.
