Track Of The Day 25/1 – Marine

'Sirens'

London four-piece Marine was always meant as a conceptual experience.

Between their releases, their live shows, and their visuals the band want to tie together each element of their creativity, crafting an over-arching message in the process.

Debut album 'Fable Electric' arrives on March 23rd through The Vinyl Factory (pre-order LINK), with Marine already sketching out a number of live dates.

New song 'Sirens' is taken from the record, and it's a multi-faceted gem, with each part interlocking to create something bigger than the sum of its pieces.

Opening with dreamy interlocking vocals, Marine then click down on the distortion pedal, their stark gothic tones fused with overdriven noize.

It's an intriguing document, at once intimate and full of foreboding but ultimately completely beguiling.

Catch Marine at the following shows:

February
16 London The Finsbury

March
28 London Rough Trade East

June
14 London The Windmill (Brixton)
