Melle Brown is taking on the world one challenge at a time.
A bold, vibrant production talent, she's able to fuse UK underground styles into something energetic and accessible while constantly pushing the boundaries.
New EP 'Intersection' is out shortly on Jamz Supernova's always-essential Future Bounce label, a sterling team up that pairs two incredible female voices.
Jamz Supernova says: "Working with Melle has been a dream, I'm a real advocate of pushing female producers and Melle was the first person I wanted to work with. This project has been a year in the making and I couldn't be happier with how it sounds. It's a brilliant EP from start to finish and I can't wait for the world to hear it".
Melle offers: "'Intersection' as an EP is the exploration of the emotions that come with feeling like you're at crossroads in life, and the journey towards the other-side, with tracks like 'Bloom' reinstating self-love and 'Breakthrough' adding that extra bit of spice/fight to keep you going."
EP highlight 'Dose Of Me' rouses Clash from its post-Bank Holiday slumber, a superb return that uses its rhythmic bounce to spar against 1Xtra supported artist Tiana Major9 and vital Manchester rapper LayFullStop.
Producer Intalekt is on hand to add some extra spice, but truly the recipe belongs to Melle Brown. She comments:
"'Dose Of Me' is a feel good track about a relationship where the couple are toying with/teasing each-other. Lyrics oozing confidence and 'sauce' - you want me, I know you do but you're playing hard to get, so you can have a dose of me... but not too much. Production by myself and Intalekt, we wanted to create something soulful you could dance to and Tiana Major9's vocals were the missing piece..."
