The Lowland country was a fulcrum for the growth of synth pop, the rising of EBM, and the evolution of techno, creating sounds that still sound remarkable to this day.
Beffroi doff their electronic cap towards this lineage, but the duo are much too young – a mere 19 and 20, respectively – to ever slavishly follow the past.
Instead, they're developing their own style, one that steers towards the dark heart of club culture. New cut 'Faint' is part of an upcoming EP, and it's an enthralling, engaging opening gambit.
