Let's Run Wild

New York is a melting pot, a crossroads sat right at the centre of youth culture.

Paths, influences, styles, directions run right across its surface. Even walking around is inspiring, with famous landmark piled up iconic building.

Listening to Beca is like wandering around New York. Sure, she's got a love for great pop hooks but since when was that a crime?

Fusing melody with electronic textures, Beca's output hints at a mis-spent youth dwelling in dark corners of Queens nightspots. Gathering acclaim on t'other side of the Pond, recent single 'Let's Run Wild' brought her to Europe.

Out now, the single came equipped with a series of dancefloor ready remixes. House / disco guru Ashley Beedle supplies a lengthy, light work out while also flipping his own production for a Dub version.

Tribe Of Many Colours and Ille also take part in the remix process, fleshing out Beca's subtle nods and winks to club culture.

For our latest Track Of The Day, though, ClashMusic have went with a remix from Klic. A London producer, Klic is known for dwelling in remote areas of Funky House, often bringing a dark edge to the party.

Tackling 'Let's Run Wild' Klic delivers something with appropriately infectious touch. A Funky gilded piece of pop-heavy house music, the new version of Beca's single just seems to bring out her inner Noo Yoik.
