Track Of The Day 22/3 – Nimmo

'Everything I Wanted'

Nimmo have built their own realm.

It's this kind of liminal state between pop and club culture, uniting voices on the fringes to form something cohesive, bold, and stylish.

Supporting the wonderful Self Esteem at London’s Village Underground this week, the duo will return to London on April 5th, planning to headline and curate an event celebrating queer nightlife alongside Roxy Lee, Princess Julia and Coco Cole.

New single 'Everything I Wanted' leads the way, with its house-edged production mingling with a bittersweet vocal.

Produced by Oli Bayston (Kelly Lee Owens, Boxed In, Teleman), it's laced with dancefloor energy, the crisp electronics bisected by that thudding percussive attack.

“It’s about imagining yourself out of a bad situation,” explains Sarah Nimmo. “The idea that without picturing where you want to be and visualising change, it’s not possible.”
