Andreya Triana needs to be honest with you.
After all, it's the only way she knows how. The music she reacts to - as a listener, as a fan - is completely honest, an account of someone's life delivered in stark accuracy.
Andreya's new album 'Life In Colour' will be released on February 22nd, and it could well be her most personal statement yet.
Recorded in London and Stockholm, it included a crack team that features heavyweights such as Dimitri Tikovoï, Bastian Langebaek, and Dee Adam.
Talking about the album, Andreya says: “ 'Life In Colour’ is a metaphor for letting go of societal and personal limitations and stepping into my womanhood. Creating a space of creative freedom, full of colour and energy to empower myself. I had a lot of fun making this album, which I think is reflected in the music - it’s definitely my most upbeat album so far! I hope it encourages as many people as possible to be their best selves and to live their ‘Life In Colour'.”
Lead single 'Woman' is out now, a song of empowerment, of realising your own potential and refusing to let society barter you down.
We've grabbed this acoustic version, and it features a stripped down arrangement and a potent vocal from Andreya Triana.
Tune in now.
