Track Of The Day 2/10 – Jvck James

'4AM'

East London R&B explosion Jvck James is currently storming his way across North America.

Recently supporting Ella Mai on tour, he's now leaped on the Mahalia tour, reinforcing UK R&B's American invasion.

With a full UK tour slated for November, these are busy times for the newcomer, whose sparkling, infectious stance is bowling over everyone in his path.

New single '4AM' is about being and being free, and it's one of the last previews from incoming EP 'Detour' (out on October 4th).

A superb comeback, '4AM' was spurred on by Jvck James embracing his freedom, a low-ride bumper that brims with confidence.

He comments: “Bought my first car last year. Called Suzie. Being young and suddenly getting that freedom is a vibe. Going places, getting out of town. Blasting Kendrick. The journey, on a new adventure every day.”

The full video for '4AM' is a colour-soaked, speed-driven rider, a lavish, cinematic affair that essentially re-purposes Drive but within an East London context.

Stylish, exuberant, and unmistakable, it's the perfect foil for Jvck James' emphatic music.

Tune in now.

Catch Jvck James at London's Omeara on November 6th.
