The race to the moon is closely linked to the 60s.
An era of aspiration, of joyous youth and musical experimentation the decade remains a fertile ground of inspiration. Just ask London newcomers The Moons, who seemed to have bonded over a collection of rare psych singles.
Their debut album is fast approaching through Acid Jazz, so ClashMusic has decided to rewind the clock.
Released last year, ‘Torn Between Two’ was a dramatic introduction. Twanging guitars, swirling Hammond and scorched vocals all lead up to a track which can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
Given a limited edition run on seven inch vinyl, ‘Torn Between Two’ is a highlights of The Moons’ debut album ‘Life Of Earth’.
