London trio The Bishops supply today’s Track of the Day with current single ‘If You Leave Today’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘For Now’.
Moving on from their monochromatic, retro styled debut, ‘For Now’ finds the band stepping up as a contemporary unit, with horizons expanded by the relentless touring in support of their debut self titled album. “I truly don’t feel that we are purely a retro band and we wanted to prove it,” says Mike Bishop, the singing guitarist half of the Bishop twins, ably assisted by brother Pete on bass and Chris Conville on drums, “We like being involved in today, not yesterday!”
