‘Panthalassa’ opens their self-produced, self-released debut album, ‘The Fireflow Trade’, here presented in a curtailed radio edit but still presenting a vivid snapshot of the band’s sound. As our own Mike Diver said “Think Doves at their loudest and fastest, and then turn their guitars a shade of shoegaze and twist their vocals so that a soothing hum becomes a frantic holler: yup, it’s something like that.”
With ‘The Fireflow Trade’ out now on Colour School Records (read our review HERE) and a growing reputation thanks to their intense, mesmerising live show the band are sure to make a splash when they appear at the Clash’s August Saturday Social.
