From something oddly alien yesterday – listen to Soap&Skin HERE if you’ve not already – to something a little closer to home in a recognizable influences sense.
Irish trio Two Door Cinema Club exude a classic indie sound that takes its share of cues from the likes of Broken Social Scene, Bloc Party and Vampire Weekend. ‘Something Good Can Work’ is their debut UK single after a domestic EP last year, and it’s out right now on the Kitsune label.
The track’s produced by Lexx (Bjork, Little Boots), giving it a razor-edge sharpness uncommon in early-doors offerings.
