Anja Plaschg’s musical moniker of Soap&Skin might be a new name to many a reader, but one listen to her striking material courtesy of today’s TotD is sure to see people switched on to her unique charms.
‘Spiracle’ is the first single to be taken from the debut Soap&Skin album, ‘Lovetune For Vacuum’, released on April 13 via PIAS. The 18-year-old vocalist’s ethereal tones sit at odds with the dramatic music; this is a concoction inspired by avant acts past, but resonating with freshness only the young can provide.
A fragile soul possessed by a spirit beyond her years, Plaschg will soon play live in London, calling at Bush Hall on April 2 – buy tickets HERE.
