Ariana And The Rose make the sort of bewitching, creative, odd, and addictive music that questions the boundaries of pop itself.
A stellar set at SXSW earlier this year ignited an explosive helping of hype, with new EP 'Retrograde' impacting at just the right time.
“This EP marks the end of a period of my life that most literally felt like it was in retrograde,” says Ariana. “Each track encapsulates these moments over the last year or so where I was really defining myself personally and artistically and the music is a sonic exploration of that growth and ultimately personal transformation.”
Matching gloriously colourful production to some enthralling lyricism, it's the most dynamic, exuberant, and downright creative document to hold the project's name.
EP highlight 'These Ruins' have been given a sparse and tender rendering, a special performance for The Manhattan Sessions.
Clash has first play, and it shows another, rather dramatic side to Ariana And The Rose.
