Track Of The Day 14/6 – AMARIA BB

'Slow Motion'

East London's AMARIA BB burns with an inner fire.

Ambitious and impatient to realise her potential, each step AMARIA BB takes seem to vault over any barrier in her way.

Refusing to accept labels, her post-genre style matches dancehall swing to R&B effervescence, all framed by that London grit.

Tapping into her Caribbean heritage, new single 'Slow Motion' incorporates patois while pushing something uniquely personal.

It's a real serve, with 'Slow Motion' detailing AMARIA BB at her most intoxicating.

Building to that crisp, technicolour chorus, she wants to use her songwriting to open out definitions of the feminine.

AMARIA BB comments…

“It's about bringing light to the things done in the dark, the dark desires (but having fun with it) that women talk about with their besties but will never bring up in a topic of conversation with anyone else. My generation consume music, view relationships, live life, completely different, it's a new world I'm championing and expressing to my audience in ways women in the past could only dream of.”

Tune in now.
