Artificial Pleasure are continually creative.
The London project refuse to let any opportunity pass them by, even if it means writing songs in the back of their tour van.
Indeed, it was one fateful night when frontman Phil McDonnell sketched out their new single, the divine 'Side By Side Together'.
Taking the song into the studio, Artificial Pleasure gradually brought it into focus, working from engineer Moritz Kerschbaumer's base in Hackney Wick.
Out now, the single is accompanied by a glorious video, shot during the record-breaking heat this summer.
Building on aesthetics of dirt and water, director Dimitris Lambridis shoots a clip that blends together different imagery to provide a full portrait of the group.
He explains: "The music video is a sequence of extended photographs in a way, hoping to portray unity among three people who are different to each other yet proceed forward together. That way, the song by itself talks about unity among everyone."
