Clock Opera are the very reason you should always keep your ear painfully close to the ground for the talent brewing beneath. Band orchestrator, Guy Connelly, possesses an uncanny ability to wield samples as if they were homemade instruments, splicing them into each track, creating his self labelled sound of ‘chop pop’- a glowing electronic soundscape of melodic optimism.
Today’s track is Clock Opera at their best, as Connelly’s rapt vocals guide an emphatic opening melody into a perfect drop of crashing drums and wavering synths.
