This week sees the release of a rather special remix compilation from the acclaimed DJ Koze.
Koze – real name Stefan Kozalla – needs little introduction to those with their ears to the DJ under- and over-ground; he’s previously released a series of records as a solo artist and a member of the International Pony collective.
‘Reincarnations – The Remix Chapter 2001-2009’ (on Get Physical) features a wealth of remixes from the outlined period, including cuts from Battles and Matthew Dear as well as Koze’s celebrated reworking of Matias Aguayo’s ‘Minimal’. It’s been enjoying some serious stereo time of late at the Clash HQ.
