Track of the Day 10/6 – Black Moth Super Rainbow

As remixed by The Go! Team...

Pittsburgh-based experimental pop oddities Black Moth Super Rainbow provide today’s TOTD. Be fair: with a name like that, they were hardly likely to be an echo of The Fratellis.

Fronted by a gentleman by the name of Tobacco – we’re going to have to assume it’s not the first name that came to his mother’s mind – the ever-evolving collective have confounded critics in the past, their sound shifting from style to style and often within the same song. Now, though, they’ve achieved relative focus, with the band’s latest LP, ‘Eating Us’, attracting its share of positive reviews. You can find Clash’s right HERE.

Our Track of the Day – downloadable below – is a Go! Team remix of Black Moth’s ‘Twin Of Myself’, the original version of which can be found on ‘Eating Us’ (the album is out now on Memphis Industries).
