Something is stirring in Liverpool.
The city has always been incredibly creative, but the past few years have witnessed a resurgence within the People's Republic Of Liverpool.
AGP is part of this creative flow. A venture for writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Gordon Parry, AGP's distorted, hazy guitar pop seems to float in on tides of sound.
New cut 'Hollywood' airs on Clash, and it fuses noise pop scenes with effect-laden vocals and those choppy, off kilter guitar chords.
The lo-fi visuals take their cue from 8-Bit systems, a searing blast of colour that matches AGP's vivid aesthetic.
Andrew explains: "'Hollywood' is about wanting to go out and see the world rather than wasting away in bed feeling sorry for myself. It’s about wanting to go out and achieve something."
Tune in now.
'Hollywood' will be released on April 14th via War Room Records.
