TOY have shared two new songs alongside new of a London show.
The psych crew have signed to Tough Love, with a brand new single incoming. The release features two new songs, showcasing two distinctly different sides of the band's identity.
'The Willow' is a lengthy, seven minute piece, a meandering, folk-hewn narrative with an organ-led sense of foreboding in the background.
The band explain: “People appear to have seen Will-o’-the-wisp, a mysterious green-blue light, over the centuries. It generally means something ominous is about to happen..."
'Energy' meanwhile is a spiky, post-punk piece, all jagged guitars and whirlwind drumming. Placed side to side, they underline the dynamic creativity that still drives the group.
Tune in now.
'The Willo' / 'Energy' will be pressed on 12 inch vinyl, available from September 14th - pre-order LINK. Catch TOY at London's Shacklewell Arms on September 28th.
