Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has returned with his first new song in four years.
The producer first made his mark with a flurry of releases on the Greco-Roman imprint, before releasing his debut album 'Trouble' back in 2012.
Since then, however… not a lot. Moving from Oxford to London, a period of creative stasis followed, before the beat maker flew out to Los Angeles.
“All my time has been spent making music and thinking about making music,” TEED said in a press note, “but I couldn't see a way for it to be fun, both personally and with regards to the state of the industry itself."
He continued: “I had to start releasing music or I would have broken. Now, I feel like there are no rules, and I'm strong enough to do things my way and fail gloriously.”
New song 'Leave A Light On' aired a few moments ago, and it's a terrific return, matching his innate electro elements to a spaced out ballad-like structure.
An imposing, creative return, 'Leave A Light On' is a tender, tech-driven, future-facing offering from the producer.
