North London all-rounder Tommy Saint has shared new single 'My Phone'.
The 21-year-old riser has made a name for himself with a string of viral cuts, including his 'Wassup Freestyle' and 'Never'.
New single 'My Phone' is online now, and it adds a soulful twist to his precocious artistry.
Part of his incoming EP, it was built during lockdown, and explores his relationship to is phone.
A metaphor for the loss of connection with friends, 'My Phone' is about attempting to open out conversations in a healthy manner.
An uplifting, breezy return, Tommy Saint says of the song…
“‘My Phone’ is one of my personal favourites off of the EP. The sounds are all so light and easy on the ears, and despite the density of the production there is so much space allowed for the song to breathe. I wrote it while in lockdown, when the only method of communication was via the phone.”
“I was undergoing a stressful period with some rocky relations and ended up writing it out of frustration. I'm excited for people to hear my voice under this new light as I really enjoyed experimenting with my tone during the recording.”
Tune in now.
