David Letterman is drawing his lengthy chat show career to a close, and recently confirmed the final Late Night musical guests.
Tom Waits agreed to appear on the show, marking his tenth and final performance on Late Night With David Letterman.
In a new twist, the songwriter has agreed to perform a brand new track. Tom Waits commented: "I don't know when I will see Dave again. I guess from now on we'll have to settle for bumping into each other at Pilates".
