Legendary American singer Tom Waits is set for a rare visit to the UK after his full European tour dates were announced.
Waits is renowned for his eclectic pilfering of unusual musical genres, perhaps best heard on his 1983 classic “Swordfishtrombones” which blends vaudeville, jazz and field hollers to distill something truly unique. Live, his performances are unmissable as Waits combines the gravitas of his career with that astonishing voice.
Tom Waits’ last album “Orphans: Bawlers, Bastards And Brawlers” was released on 2006 to great acclaim, collecting together over 50 discarded tracks from the recent years of the writer’s career.
