Tom Jones For Elbow

New Plans Emerge

Veteran Welsh shouter Tom Jones has revealed that he plans to work with Mercury scooping Bury outfit Elbow in a new interview.

The Las Vegas legend is gearing up to release a new studio album this Autumn, but is already looking to the future. Titled ’24 Hours’ the new album is an attempt to fit in with the current Mark Ronson inspired retro-soul boom.

However Jones is already promising to work with Elboe. He told British red top The Sun “I’m going to be doing something with them soon”.

Elbow haven’t had a moment to rest since their album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’ won the Mercury Music Prize. A children’s album is in the works, and the band have been mooted to do a number of collaborative pieces.

There has been no official announcement of a collaboration between Elbow and Tom Jones.
