Toddla T and Roses Gabor are set to pair up for Bacardi Beginnings' Beats Per Minute project.
Launched earlier this year, Beats Per Minute teams established artists up against new talent. Smashing the two together, the Bacardi Beginnings project launched with a special show in London featuring Rudimental and Bipolar Sunshine.
Now the second collaboration has been unveiled. Sheffield maverick Toddla T has picked Roses Gabor for the project, with the results due to be unveiled shortly.
Challenged to write, record and mix a brand new track, the pair have responded with 'Pandora's Box'. Due to be released at 7pm on September 4th, fans will have to tweet, like or share the track on social media, with more of the track being unveiled as fans get involved.
Once the track is fully unlocked, fans can get involved and remix 'Pandora's Box'. The winner will be chosen by Toddla T and Pandora's Box themselves, with the final prize including production software and a studio visit overseen by Toddla T.
The Sheffield don is clearly excited at the prospect. "New music and new talent really excite me as a producer. Roses Gabor came straight into my mind when I was asked to take on the BACARDÍ Beginnings challenge as she has such a distinctive sound and vibe. The main thing for me about this project is making a great song. I’m genuinely excited to see what people do with the parts. The idea that people can grab bits and do their own thing means there is no limit to creativity. That’s the reason for a remix, to take it to your own world."
Watch out for 'Pandora's Box' from 7pm on September 4th.
