Hudson Mohawke and Lunice have re-united as TNGHT.
The duo have been friends and collaborators for some time, but formed the TNGHT project in 2012.
A self-titled EP followed, with their crunching live show touching down on every continent going.
Sampled by Kanye West, TNGHT last released new material in 2013 with their 'Acrylics' single.
Going on hiatus, the possibility of new TNGHT material has been teased by both parties, including the project's official social media accounts.
Online now, 'Serpent' is a writhing, ultra-rhythmic monster, with the chirruping vocal snippets aligned to some cliff-edge drops and marimba-like noises.
A bold return, it moves TNGHT on to a fresh chapter – tune in now.
