Tiny Masters Of Today Single

Tweenie siblings rock out

Tweenie siblings Tiny Masters Of Today are due to release their new single ‘Real Good’ on August 17th.

Child prodigies are not unusual. Stevie Wonder scored his first hit aged just twelve, while Mozart was composing symphonies before he even entered High School. However young talents are unusual in rock, where age and wisdom seem to bring success.

Sure, the Underage phenomenon may have encouraged a raft of young talent but few are as slender in years as Brooklyn duo Tiny Masters Of Today. Aged just 13 and 15 respectively, the pair have been making music almost since they could walk.

Named Ivan and Ada, the duo began working on their brief punk-inspired tracks at home. Managing to put together a MySpace page their songs became a word of mouth sensation, with fans scarcely able to believe how young Tiny Masters Of Today are.

Amongst the new fans were some genuine rock cognoscenti. Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O took the band under her wing, with their debut album featuring contributions from the likes of Kimya Dawson and the Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes.

More recently, Sonic Youth aimed to celebrate the launch of their new album by inviting Tiny Masters Of Today to perform, while the band managed to make an appearance this year’s Siren Festival.

For their latest album ‘Skeletons’ Tiny Masters Of Today decided to fly solo. The band produced the record themselves, incorporating elements of electronica, hip hop, dub and disco in their sound.

Taken from their new album, forthcoming single ‘Real Good’ is due to be released on August 17th. A pop stomp, the single features an exclusive remix from Sunroof.

To celebrate the release of the single, Tiny Masters Of Today have launched their new TV station. Featuring interviews, live performances and more you can watch the first episode below…
