Experimental composer Tiny Leaves has shared two new pieces, ‘Anthropocene’ and ‘As Above, So Below’.
The musician’s excellent 2023 album ‘Mynd’ rightly won praise, melting together modern classical, left-field electronics and more. Wide open in its artistry, the record framed Tiny Leaves as a voice uniquely entwined with its surroundings.
Currently recording a follow-up, sessions for his new material have taken place at Fenn’s, Whixall and Bettesfield Moss, a National Nature Reserve and SSSI in Shropshire.
Ahead of this, Tiny Leaves has opted to share two special pieces of music. A languid, perfume-esque 10-minute journey, ‘Anthropocene’ seeks to analyse our relationship with the natural world; the rather more succinct ‘As Above, So Below’ taps into his melodic effervescence.
Twenty percent of the proceeds from each track will be donated to Brian Eno’s EarthPercent charity.
Tune in now.
