Salford chart destroyers The Ting Tings are set to re-issue their debut album ‘We Started Nothing’ with a bonus disc on November 24th, it has been announced.
One of the chart sensations of 2008, The Ting Tings have been an all conquering force in the world of pop music. With singles such as ‘That’s Not My Name’ etching themselves inside the nation’s collective brain, debut album ‘We Started Nothing’ soared to number one, eventually selling more than 800,000 copies.
Now the band are set to celebrate their astonishing year by re-issuing their debut album with a host of extras. Featuring a bonus DVD with videos, features and acoustic versions of some of their biggest tracks, the album is a worthwhile salute to a year that has changed the lives of these two musicians.
The Ting Tings release the expanded version of their album ‘We Started Nothing’ on November 24th. The band have also announced their first tour dates of 2009:
