Fresh from their meeting at the Glastonbury festival, indie pop group The Ting Tings and urban hero Dizzee Rascal are set to collaborate on some new material, it has been reported.
The two acts recently swapped the number one slot in the UK charts, and have done more than anyone else to define the sound of this year’s summer. Dizzee Rascal met the pair at Glastonbury and was reportedly keen to make some music with them. Lead singer of The Ting Tings Katie White admits that the feeling is mutual, with the group already planning a collaboration.
Speaking to the Daily Star, White also said that “we make quite different music from each other but I think it would be interesting. I’ve got some ideas of what I’d like us to do but I don’t want to give them away.”
Dizzee Rascal is currently at number one with his Calvin Harris collaboration “Dance Wiv Me”.
