One of this year’s most spectacular success stories The Ting Tings have gone back to their roots in a new video message explaining to fans how to make their own record sleeves.
The Ting Tings have taken time out from their chart bothering antics to teach fans how to make their own album sleeves, in a new message on Teen.com. The band explain how they made their early CD covers, by recycling Blondie and Madonna LPs.
Singer Katie White said of their creations:
“When we first put our record out we made our own promos and we had no money so we found some card knocking around, it was bright pink card, and then we got masking tape and just stuck it on the front and sent them out with our name written on them like that.”
