Tindersticks Announce New Album ‘Soft Tissue’

It's out on September 13th...

Tindersticks have shared details of new album ‘Soft Tissue’.

The incoming album is the much-loved project’s 14th studio LP to date, and lands on September 13th via City Slang. Available to pre-order now, ‘Soft Tissue’ will be accompanied by a UK tour, including a memorable evening at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The full dates can’t be found below, with Tindersticks sharing lead single ‘New World’.

A dose of probing maturity, ‘New World’ comes equipped with a fun stop-motion video, its innocence off-setting Stuart Staples’ lyricism.

Commenting on the video Stuart Staples says…

Sid was making these tiny ceramic characters, and I asked her to make some of the band. Later I wrote this song about somehow trying make sense of this strange world I felt developing around me and these little guys came back into my mind. Let’s take them on a stop motion journey across a strange land, from the barren rocks to the bountiful fruit that is not familiar and maybe poisonous. Sid put the landscapes together and moved the figures, millimetres at a time. Neil took the photographs; we edited as went along.”

Tune in now.
