Vienna based trio Tin Man Falls have shared new single ‘Black To Grey’.
The project hinges on the voice of Joseph Robinson, working in collaboration with producer Felipe Scolfaro Crema and multi-instrumentalist Edo Mjusik. Debut single ‘Beats On The Bottom’ defined their aesthetic, an indie-electronica mix that nods to the influence of James Blake and Chet Faker.
Following this, Tin Man Falls have just shared something new, with ‘Black To Grey’ broadening their sound still further. Empathetic in lyric, the swirling electronics wrap themselves around the vocal, one that urges you to open up.
“This song is about not getting trapped in who you think you are or how things should be,” says Joseph Robinson, the frontman of the project. “It’s about opening up to change and the ambiguity that brings.”
A potent return that could be filed alongside Caribou, say, or even Moderat, ‘Black To Grey’ fizzes with energetic emotion.
Tune in now.
