Timbah’s ‘Eagles Shadow’ Draws Inspiration From Boss Levels + Japanese Webcomics

We’re premiering a cut from the Leeds producer’s colossal new EP

Leeds-based Timbah (who we've fucked with in the past) is a rising beatmaker whose voice deserves to be heard. Informed by grime but never strictly adhering to any one genre, his productions are pretty off-the-wall; tapping into a variety of textures for a brain-mangling outcome.

Supposedly inspired by the ‘gargantuan anime monsters’ of Japanese superhero parody webcomic One-Punch Man, new three-tracked EP ‘Slimey Makoto’ sets foot on Sheffield’s Bad Taste records.

‘Eagles Shadow’, which we’re premiering now — takes its inspiration from anime and video games, coming across as something like a boss level soundtrack with a creeping sense of dread.

Check it out below.
