Russian polymath Tim Aminov is part of a new wave of electronic talent centring on Moscow.
Winning international acclaim for his work, Tim was recently signed to Christian Löffler’s esteemed Ki Records imprint.
There's a lot more to come, with the producer now sharing his bold, dramatic, and highly personal 'OPIUM' EP.
Out now, it's an inquisitive, probing, emotional listen, gripping in its evocation of political paranoia.
Written during an "aggressive political mood" in Moscow, the EP moves through different emotional shifts and gears, before finding a personal mode of resolution.
Commenting on the EP, Tim Aminov states:
“This release was written under the influence of a difficult situation in Russia. We live in a very aggressive political mood and this mainly concerns ordinary people in our country.”
