Teased on socials, the single represents Tiana’s first new release in two years, and closes a tough period in her life.
‘alone’ was actually penned during lockdown, and deals with the feelings of isolation that many of us felt during that period. Cut off from friends and loved ones, the lyric comes to form a message of self-sufficiency, while also revelling in the desire for connection.
Co-written with legendary songwriter Prince Charlez (Rihanna, Usher, Beyoncé) and recorded during the pandemic, ‘alone’ finds Tiana Major9 learning to open up as never before.
